Dynamics of quantum dissipation systems interacting with bosonic canonical bath: hierarchical equations of motion approach.
A nonperturbative theory is developed, aiming at an exact and efficient evaluation of a general quantum system interacting with arbitrary bath environment at any temperature and in the presence of arbitrary time-dependent external fields. An exact hierarchical equations of motion formalism is constructed on the basis of a calculus-on-path-integral algorithm, via the auxiliary influence generati...
متن کاملHierarchical Equations for Open System Dynamics in Fermionic and Bosonic Environments
We present two approaches to the dynamics of an open quantum system coupled linearly to a non-Markovian fermionic or bosonic environment. In the first approach, we obtain a hierarchy of stochastic evolution equations of the diffusion type. For the bosonic case such a hierarchy has been derived and proven suitable for efficient numerical simulations recently (Suess et al. in Phys. Rev. Lett. 113...
متن کاملNonequilibrium steady states of ideal bosonic and fermionic quantum gases.
We investigate nonequilibrium steady states of driven-dissipative ideal quantum gases of both bosons and fermions. We focus on systems of sharp particle number that are driven out of equilibrium either by the coupling to several heat baths of different temperature or by time-periodic driving in combination with the coupling to a heat bath. Within the framework of (Floquet-)Born-Markov theory, s...
متن کاملAnyonic Behavior of Quantum Group Fermionic and Bosonic Systems
The role of quantum groups and quantum Lie algebras [1] in physics has its origin in the theory of vertex models [2] and the quantum inverse scattering method [3]. From the mathematical point of view, two of the most important developments have been their understanding in terms of the theory of noncommutative Hopf algebras [4] and their relation to non-commutative geometry [5, 6, 7]. In recent ...

We derive the relativistic transformation laws for the annihilation operators of the scalar field, the massive spin-1 vector field, the electromagnetic field and the spinor field. The technique developed here involves straightforward mathematical techniques based on fundamental quantum field theory, and is applicable to the study of entanglement in arbitrary coordinate transformations. In parti...
